At Lopez Wellness, I aim to make therapy accessible, transparent, and easy to understand. Below you’ll find information about accepted insurance plans, private pay rates, and payment options for therapy services.

Insurance benefits and out-of-pocket costs vary by plan. When scheduling an appointment through the online booking link, you will be able to enter your insurance information to receive an estimated cost per therapy session based on your specific benefits.

For clients who choose to self-pay, the following private pay rates apply:
Initial Intake Therapy Session (60 minutes): $125
Ongoing Individual Therapy Sessions (53 minutes): $100
Private pay therapy sessions are due at the time of service.

Clients using insurance are required to enroll in autopay and maintain a card on file. Your card will not be charged until:
A claim has been submitted for a billable therapy session, or
A cancellation or no-show fee is applied (if applicable)
This process supports timely billing and minimizes delays related to insurance processing.

Lopez Wellness accepts the following forms of payment:
Major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover)
FSA, HSA, and HRA cards

If you are using Employee Assistance Program (EAP) benefits, your therapy sessions are covered by your employer. While your EAP benefits are active, you are not required to store a payment method on file.
If you choose to continue therapy after your EAP sessions are completed or expire, a payment method will be required to continue care.

Please remember to cancel or reschedule 24 hours in advance. Please do this by contacting your therapist directly. If desired, your therapist will attempt to reschedule you at a time that fits both your and the therapist’s schedule. The cancellation policy for Lopez Wellness PLLC is as shown below:
• No call/No Show: $100 This means you do not attend your session and do not inform your therapist you will not be in attendance.
• Late Cancel (less than 24 hours) for a Non-Emergency: $65 This means you informed your therapist that you will not be in attendance of your session less than 24 hours prior to the session start time.
• Late Cancel (less than 24 hours) for an Emergency: $35 This is subject to your therapist’s discretion.
Insurance & EAP Clients
Insurance does not cover missed or late-canceled sessions
EAP sessions may be forfeited if appointments are missed without proper notice
